today we went to get our first colorado christmas tree... we had all of these lofty ideas of spending the afternoon trekking into the mountains and 4x4ing about until we found our perfect charlie brown tree and then cutting it down ourselves... the true colorado experience... ha ha!! we ended up at home depot 1 hour and $40 later, we had a beautiful perfectly groomed tree standing tall in our front window! maybe next year!!
